About the event
Our first Clinical Talk will be given by a number of our fourth and final year students covering the topic of EMS abroad. Many students complete clinical EMS abroad between third and final year. This talk is particularly relevant to all years who are hoping to complete EMS abroad, in countries such as the United States, India, Thailand and Africa. All areas of veterinary practice will be covered. Many practices require you to secure a place up 2 years in advance so this talk is extremely important if you are hoping to organise EMS abroad.
Even if you're not sure about going abroad for placement it's still great to hear about peoples experiences and stories!
Each student will cover information such as how to organise placement, when to organise it, what is involved, costs including whether accomodation is provided and their recommendations after completing placement there.
As with all of our clinical talks therell be tea, coffee and biscuits before the talk and pizza at the end!
See you there!
